Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with medical assistant certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a medical assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a healthcare setting.
